1. Information handled by the app

CapyBite does not collect personally identifiable information such as your name, email address, contacts, or location.

To provide mobile-desktop pairing and remote status features, the app's device identifier (UUID) and system information — CPU, memory, disk, battery, network usage, and running process names — is sent to and stored on Supabase servers. When a pairing code is attempted, your IP address may be temporarily processed to prevent abuse. This information is used only to share status between paired devices and for security, and is not used for advertising, tracking, or profiling.

2. Website technical data

The website does not set cookies or use advertising or analytics tools. Cloudflare may temporarily process technical data such as IP address, browser type, access time, and requested page to deliver and secure the website.

3. Email inquiries

If you contact us, your email address, message, and device information you voluntarily provide may be processed solely to answer your inquiry. It is deleted after the inquiry is complete unless retention is required by law. Microsoft's privacy terms may apply to email delivery.

4. Service providers

Personal information is not sold. Cloudflare may process data for website hosting, Microsoft for email, and Supabase Inc. for the app's database and authentication infrastructure. Information is not otherwise shared unless required by law.

5. Your rights

You may request access, correction, or deletion of information provided by email. Contact us at the address below.

6. Children's privacy

CapyBite does not intentionally collect personal information from children. Contact us if you believe a child has provided personal information.

7. Changes

We may update this policy when the app or applicable requirements change. Material changes and their effective date will be posted here.
